How to Apply for Google Adsense?

What is Google Adsense?

Google Places Ads on your site.

Just like newspapers have ads placed on their site you will have ads placed on your website.

Somebody who comes to your site to read the information may find that the ad on your site has the information they need.

When they click on the ads to find out more information, Google pays you.

This is called Pay Per Click Program.

How do you get relevant ads?

You need not select the ads. Google selects them for you based on the content of your site. All that you need to do is to place a code on your site or blog.

How to you sign up for Google Adsense?

To get the ads you have to sign up with Google. Go through the following steps.

1. Sign up for AdSense.

2. When this page opens click on the button which says: "Click Here to Apply"

3. Once you click on this button you will get a page with a form. You need to fill in your name, etc.

4. After you complete the form and submit the application, you will receive a thank you message.

5. You will get a mail from Google saying that your form has been submitted and you will hear from them in a day or two.

6. After a day or two you will receive another mail saying your site has been approved and you can place Google Ads on your site.

7. You go to the Google Adsense site, (where you signed up Sign up for AdSense. ), login and find the code you have to copy and paste on your site.

8. For a blog you can just go to Templates ...> AdSense ....> and choose the AdSense format you need.
